just imagine u in Genting Highland or Cameron Highland or Thailand

here the review on this gps
As holiday season approaches, consumer electronics companies are putting out the stops to entice gift-givers: first up on Navigon's list: the 8100T, a new GPS system that provides panoramic views of the road.

So what's the big deal? According to Gadgetell, the Navigon 8100T "displays the surrounding area all in 3D, including actual digital elevations and life-like terrains; all made possible by an integrated graphics accelerator as well as pictures taken by NASA satellites."

As CNET points out, "While we've seen 3D building rendering in other GPS before (a la HP iPaq 310 Travel Companion) as well as 3D views of complicated intersections, the 8100T is the first to offer a full 3D view of your surrounding environment, giving you a better idea of what lies ahead."

The Navigon 8100T will be available online starting this month, with a $599 list price. PC Magazine says that like others in the Navigon family, this model has an optional FreshMaps service for $79.99, which provides 12 map updates over a three-year span. Other trademark features include Bluetooth connectivity, Lane Assistant Pro, which alerts drivers to the best lane to drive in, or Reality View Pro, which gives static images of complicated intersections. Free real-time traffic updates are provided for life.

No one's actually got there hands on a Navigon 8100T yet, but let's hope it fares better than the Navigon model currently making the reviewer circuit: the new 2000S. CNET claims, "We've reviewed several of Navigon's portable navigation devices, and it always seems to be the same story: great features, affordable price, but always coming up short in performance." CNET also says the 2000S "offers a great value, but the slow satellite acquisition time makes for a frustrating experience."
