Or if you have a USB card reader connected, insert your memory card and upload the map to your memory card.

As the above two posts, you can:
1) Use mapsource, and select your SD card connected to the PC/laptop via SD card reader, and send map to the SD card.

2) Update your Activesync to version 4.5. After installation, restart computer, plug phone in and wait for connection. Permit the connection in your firewall. It will then pop up configuration. You can configure it, or ignore it (if you ignore, it will prompt each time you reconnect). After that you can browse your phone through Activesync.

3) Copy the .img file to the Garmin folder on the SD card (again, a SD card reader is needed)

SD card readers are cheap. You can pick one for around US$3-5 delivered from www.dealextreme.com I have bought many 'knick knacks' from them at prices the defy logic. You do need a Paypal account though for payment.

Yes, and not likely to any time in the future since Garmin is no longer developing any newer version than Garmin Que v2.90.

Mmm ... http://www.malsingmaps.com/wiki/index.php/Garmin_Que has some older questions and answers, but none about Garmin Que not supporting custom icons or TYP customizations. Anyone would like to add a Garmin Que article in http://gpsmaps.wikia.com ? O:)
