Converting Nuvi 2x5W Firmware to MAL/SIN Firmware

Hi,

I bought a US 1350 and managed to flashed to SG/MY V2.5.

But its not showing the Junction view and lane assist.

After the flashed i have downloaded the full file of MSM map from Garmin website and installed it.

I check the junction file is inside the Garmin.

What could be wrong ? Anyone have experience ?

why still converting to mysg version, hear from msm, their coming latest release maps will have JVC and will work on all JCV enable nuvi version

I found that my device can't detect my SD card. The map inside SD card is not seen in the device. Anyone see this issue? I am suspecting software problem as I flashed my device from US to local firmware.

do you mean nuvi 2X5 will support JVC (correct me i am wrong) for the coming version? any article about this?

Hi all! I just got a 265wt us model with the s4 board. Will this work on this model? Will i be able to use us maps and voices? Is there a more updated guide for doing this? I can not connect the loader via usb. Tia!

friend....how to check my garmin 255w HWID code??????i want to flash my garmin 255w us set SW Ver 6.00, Nuvi 2W series S4_R3 V3 2GB to sg/my firmware......i try the RGN download from here but can not flash....???? why???tq

I managed to flash my 205W to till 2W series.

Step 3
When I tried to enable the TTS until step 9, suddenly the 205w keep switching on and off, I disconnect the 205W from my PC. When I try to start the 205W, there is a white screen follow by Garmin Logo and it just switch off.

Please help..........

Advice needed.
Hi ..., I am stucked at the step #6 (There are no USB device available). I tried several times @step #5 (Even downloaded/installed the specific USB driver from Garmin website) but still cant get through the Step #6, whilst waiting for the "Updater.exe" to allow to select the Garmin device (Refer to screenshot).

I am using Garmin 205W S3 board. Made in Taiwan. I did check/follow the preparation steps.

5. Slide and HOLD the Power Button of the Nuvi, then quickly plug in the USB cable to
connect to the computer. (Continue to hold the power button).
6. The updater.exe will detect the USB Device with your model software and Unit ID.

you can activate the usb manually, at main screen, press and hold the battery icon for few seconds, the usb will be detected and you can flash.
