If i have a S2 and S3 board...currently i am on the 3.10 using the modified RGN file....
can i put in the GUpdate.gcd and have it totally change to a localised set?

you should not convert to local unit using the gupdate, you should use the rgn tool to use back the original boot.bin + sg/my fw_all.bin

this will make sure you dont brick your device.

got error msg from updater.loader appear for 1 second than updating complete 100%.but firmware doest change,still 7.10,using 255w S4 v5

I am getting the same message on my new NUVI 205W, S4, HWID 1091, V7.1

Hi, if I update my US Nüvi 265W to the MG/Sig so it accepts lane assistance and junction view, can I later turn it back to it's original firmware? the US one?

Hi,

I have a 260w bought 2-3 years back from USA. Can I flash it to SG/MY Firmware v3.10?

Would any experts kindly advise before I take the plunge and brick my unit please?

I have bought a 205W which already converted to JCI enable by the seller.
I dint know all this conversion stuff before i read all this.... and i have change the MSM to NT2010.20
and after i change the map, my junction view was gone..... :cry: :cry: :cry:

what can i do to get back my junction view?

Bro lcc2302, are you sure you are in the correct forum ? This is MFM ( MalFreeMaps ) :mrgreen:

So means msm and Mfm is different?
So means in my gps I should choose either Mfm or msm in map?
