sorry to refresh this thread.
my xt log in well within 1 min with GPS connection (not AGPS) on an open place and clear day.
cloudy or wet days can be much slower.
but i also encounter occasional erratic positioning my the GPS device. either showing wrong location while on NSE or sometimes wrong speeds as well as wrong side of a road. however with the latterm as long as I am in constant motion, it corrects itself.
