Garmin no longer updating Mobile XT

Bad news, just get a reply fr Garmin, looks like they are not going to continue MXT for symbian s60v5:

We regret to say that your Nokia N97 is not GMXT supported. We are not going release any new software to fix it. Please understand about this.

p/s I heard it's not just Symbian S60 platform, all other versions too will remain as it is with no further updates.

On the contrary, because they know GMXT is not making money already, how many are actually using legit GMXT?

1 out of 10 time i only use the nokia internal gps. Why? Simply the 10x better accuracy, fast locking & most importantly, save my phone battery juice
Lucky this time the ver 5.0.50 still can run on my n97, but dunno what happen in future, perhaps Papago?

Heh, the moment they announced the nuvifone last year, I knew this would eventually happen.
