navi 202 system - alpine

hey guys/gals!

i got a alpine w202 unit that has a navi 202 system. Its map is till somewhere in 2009.

Is there are way to update it using the free maps here? if so? which one?

else.. what other way can i update it?

To date so far, only Kenwood sets support Garmin maps.

i've been thinking of getting this setup, but did not get it fearing the same map update problem.

since you've already got it, no harm trying and you can share your result back... from my understanding navi-202 OEM map provider is Agis, and they stopped updating the map for Alpine, so you can suck thumb and continue to use it as it is; or

Since Navi-202 is running on WINCE platform, try contacting Mapking/Papago see if you could run their navigation program using Navi-202 SD card slot; or

Contact current Alpine map provider, MSOFT (?), see if they could load their navigation software "Speednavi SQ" on your Navi-202. Saw on MTECH AUDIO (thai website) their Navi-202 is loaded with Speednavi SQ also
