Hello Indrapr

Thank you.

Tested on my GMXT and it works.

I was able to search for Singapore Postal Codes using the SLA-MFM data.

I will try this on my Nuvi tonight.

Bro Ong is doing such a terrific job on mfm map postal code that I wonder do we need SLA map at all ? :-k

Anyone knows which postal code is available in SLA but not in mfm 1.66 ?

Plenty of them... eg. MSCP, industrial buildings, private housings... these are usually the ones without postal code in the MFM map.

This method does not work for the Nuvi.

It works great on the GMXT / PDA.

Bro leec228,

For Nuvi, you might want to follow instructions from bro dvpro (which is really a pro, BTW, really =D> ) on an earlier post on this same thread:

viewtopic.php?p=48185#p48185

See whether the combination works for your Nuvi. :)

Thanks.

Hope this helps. :)

It works on my Nokia 5800. Thank you

Hello Indrapr

The method by dvpro did not work for my Nuvi760.

I followed the exact instructions.

I have Mapsource 6.15.6 installed and using Mfm1.66.

The Mfm166 map was successfully transfered to my Nuvi's SD card using Mapsource.

But my Nuvi's mapinfo only showed SLA-MFM 1.64, nothing on the mfm166.

Can you help?

Thank you.

Confirm the steps do not work in Nuvi for this latest versions combo, if you need some tips, PM me.

Hi,

am I able to merge SLA postal code & MFM v1.66 together since I have the unlock code from Eastgear? If is possible, I will not have to wait for the update from Eastgear.

Best regards.
