thanks for the link. I went to my device and saw the software version: 2.80 and tie to SG/MAL unit since I got it from PC Fare. If I decided to upgrade to Taiwan firmware (version 3.30), it should be ok? which means I can still view my pre-loaded MSM, MFM and China map (if I decided to buy from Garmin online)?
