I'm sorry. Due to tight schedule when I staying in JB cause me no chance to be trying re-route. Now I'm at home (Manjung), no chance to try this feature anymore. However by using simulation, I test area in JB there are still have JCV running together with MFM but how can I re-route while in simulation mode?

This afternoon I update MFM map to MFM-Garmin 101213 & MSM map to v5.05 and make no change to MSM NT 2010. Very sad, after update, via simulation there are no JCV running together with MFM anymore.

But wait,

After several attempt I found that JCV can running back together with MFM when I tick all MFM files (map+2poi) PLUS MSM NT 2010!. \:D/

I know some said running 2 map together have tendency to lag. And for that, just few hours ago, I tried to navigate on the road in my area with this double map and found that there are no different with single map, no lag . Unfortunately MSM NT 2010 JCV not covering my area, only simulation in other areas (example KL, JB) may shows JCV, denote MFM can running together with MSM NT 2010 JCV in my unit. :champ:

For anyone that interested to trying and succeed obtain JCV may try this feature on the road at your area if your area covered by MSM JVC. Good luck.

I am willing to answer or respond any query from you.

bro sakura,

I have simulated what you have down with my nuvi 1250 and with the following screen capture and confimed what you have seen, both MfM familiar overlay as well as MSM NT JCV. refer to scren capture below.
Was quite surprise initially as one was compiled by cgpsmapper and anotehr with proprietary Garmin compiler, usually the Garmin compiler will have higher priority on map redraw so it overlayed other map, somehow it doesn't.

yes, with both map sets checked, it is laggy with my 1250, as both the maps are not 100% identical (although long long time ago they are sibilings :-' ), our device may confuse when we have a road with +/- coordinate difference..

if you enjoy it and do not mind the laggy, use it, although I do not see why we need to stress our device to that extend :frus:

Agree with you, why we need to stress our device? Maybe 1460 less stress.
Even my unit can shows JCV when both map ticked, now I only tick MFM because no JCV in my area.

My point only one: MFM can running together with JCV from MSM in my unit.

Please check at 1st post, I asked what JCV running together with MFM in my unit because I only ticked MFM in map info. The topic not HOW TO RUNNING MFM MAP WITH MSM JCV.

This case open our mind. Thats all.
Its up to you.

No bro, while navigating it use MFM map and you can enter any road which not available in MSM, I had tried it. Everybody know MFM road richer than MSM especially in Malaysia. But when it reach a area which covered by JCV, the JCV come out. The problem only one, if JCV is outdated.

Just telling you about my dream.
