i have been doing this ie. MFM/SLA v1.63 with MFM v1.64, v1.65 and v1.66 in my Nuvi550 without a problem.

My 205 does not allow East Gear 1.63 with 1.64~1.68 also...
Sian...

Same here. 205W/255W, can't get MFM v1.67 to work with SLA-MFM v1.65.

Tried the following methods:
1. MFM v1.67 as gmapsupp.img on SD card, SLA-MFM v1.65 as gmapsupp.img on 205W.
2. MFM v1.67 as gmapsup2.img on 205W, SLA-MFM v1.65 as gmapsupp.img on 205W.
3. MFM v1.67 as gmapsupp.img on 205W, SLA-MFM v1.65 as gmapsupp.img on SD card.

Can you elaborate what you mean by "can't work" ?

I just MFM v1.68 as gmapsupp.img on N550, SLA-MFM v1.63 as gmapsupp.img, and gmapsupp.unl on SD card.

What I achieved is that i have the MFM v1.68, with all the lastest, POIs, feedback, track on display, and still retain the Singapore SLA/Address/ Postal Code function.

So are we all singing the same song ? :-k

All the answers to use this map can be found inside Gmaptool. Learn it and you no longer have a problem... Please don't PM me for a solution... I have review too much already.... cheers!

Ya, on same song here. Just that N205W and N255W refuse to recognize the MFM v1.67 on SD card and always only display the SLA-MFM v1.65 in Nuvi.

I have a 205, but I did not ask for the MFM/SLA unlock code so I couldn't test it.

Does the MAP INFO show both maps are loaded ?

Maybe you could try removing the MFM/SLA map and run just the MFM v.1.68 from the SD card, and then switch it about and maybe you could find what is the problem.

There's only 1 way to get around this problem

Copy the MFM to Nuvi and the SLA-MFM to the SD card. You will have the latest MFM map then.
