As long as you do not leave your Nuvi to "cook" in the car, is not a problem. Anyway for my case Sin, like Penang, all distances in island is short so not much chance heat to cause Blu-Tack to leave a residue.

not forgetting it can get messy when blutack 'melts' under high temp and heat

I use this i-CAP Anti-Glare GPS Shade Visor that made from Korea. I use this because im selling it lol....
