hi, can anyone tell me where i can get new zealand maps for my eroda gps, i just bought one from china but didn't realize it didn't come preloaded with maps, i have searched the internet with no luck.
i would appreciate any help you can give me.

This is a Win CE device and who knows what Navigational software is was loaded with. Your best bet is to contact manufacturer for maps http://www.eroda.asia/1/shopbrowse

hi thanks for the info, no joy there they don't even have a contact address,
click maps and there is nothing there, starting to think i have a lemon,

The key for us to advise only if we can understand the sort of GPS software is installed with your gadget. May be you can try bring up the software (even without map) and describe to us what you can see from the screen(s) - the best is if you can post a screenshot.
AFAIK (information from eroda website), though there's nothing to download from the site, somehow, it has revealed the map is "PAPAGO". There's a fair chance that Malfreemaps Papago map can be used - no harm trying. You may follow below steps to down and try:
1. goto http://www.malfreemaps.com/viewtopic.php?f=23&t=10845&start=0
2. look for section starting with "B) Standard MFM-PPG-110501S" in page (middle)
3. Download from links suggested

Sorry Sir, Malfreemaps has maps only for Malaysia and Singapore (and may be Thailand).
Not sure if Papago (the company) has New Zealand map or not.

Try Garmin mobile xt. Only cxxxk version available. New Zealand map no problem at all. I've Aus & N.Zealand but don't how to share. (151MByte).
