My ASEAN Free GPS Map Project

Dear All Dai kor,

I just downloaded the latest map from here for my Garmin 1250.

As usual, i copy and paste the map file to my device.

After that, when I trying to restart my device, it was hanging at the "loading maps"

How to resolve this??

For newbies we always recommend updating maps on SD card. Guess this message too late for you.

Your problem could be due to a corrupt map data during the update.

You can try to leave it in bootup mode with mains plug in and hope that it can recover.

If not you are stuck with an expensive paperweight or need to send to Garmin support in Taiwan for a fix.

It is still a way to " CURE " the "bricked" unit...
