Garmin CN map of Thailand cannot be shared among users. Even if u managed to copy the original purchased map, which comes in a SD card, to another SD card, you won't be able to use it as it as the copied map is locked. The original map's unlock code is tied to the SD card's ID. Unless u know someone who has the map and is willing to loan you the map.

sorry to hi-jack dis thread guys..
a simple question> i've bought my nuvi 255W locally(singapore IT show); agent says its preloaded with singapore/malaysia/thailand maps.
thing is> i juz got back from thailand and once i hit thai soil, there were no maps on my device. it simple shows a white background with the heading> driving north/NW/south/southwest..
how do i preload thailand maps on my device?
is it juz by uploading the software> as simple as that??

Err... Preloaded with maps of Singapore, Malaysia and Brunei... No Thailand map.
