Some browsers allow the option to save the file, rather than play it using the plug-in app. Or, alternatively you can retrieve the files from your browser's cache folder. And by using Garmin Voice Studio's Audio Import feature, the audio files can then be used instead of recording directly. So now who will come up with the first customized Garmin voice here? =P~

Not sure if this has been discussed before.

Now you can record your own (or your GF) voice using Garmin provided software, instead of third party software. Best of all it is FREE!

I used Garmin Voice Studio to create this voice with Julie NeoSpeech Pro Version, TextAloud and dBpoweramp. I wish Garmin would make a TTS vpm using this voice. It's the most natural sounding one in my opinion.

Edit: However, I find the volume to be quite low, any chance for another version with louder volume. TIA.

I changed the download link. It now includes 3 volume levels. The one you previously downloaded was the lowest volume of the 3.

i've try with import voices options but the voice sound like fast speeding in my garmin.

From the Help file:
Importing WAV Files

You can import WAV files encoded using 16 bit raw PCM audio sampled at 44 kHz. The WAV file must be less than 10 seconds in length.
