Will greatly appreciate some sifus here will test it out and give your opinion especially in areas of Garmin's handling of unlocking codes and usage of 3rd party maps like MFM....... If it is no good for MFM maps, I stay with old version.

I too will stay with 6.13.7 The last time I upgraded, it was quite some snafu situation on the computer. Dont want to rock the boat again. 6.13.7 sweet-as .

MFM seems to work fine in v6.5.11.

I downloaded 6.15.11 into my Acer 3810T running Windows 7, it still exhibited the same problems of not showing maps upon zooming up and down and then hangs. (Maybe it is the Acer drivers since there are hardly many complaints to justify Garmin doing something about it)

Since you say 6.13.7 so good, I downloaded it and and installed it. It is working beautifully in Win 7 on the Acer!!!! Lagi cepat leh!



But sorry not so cantik lah... but hell, it works!!!

Hi, I am a newbie in GPS thingy and own a Nuvi205W. Have been trying to digest as much as i can on anything related to GPS and MFM but still am facing some problems which I hope can get some help from the sifus...

i) I went to Garmin site and tried to download Mapsource for the first time and after having downloaded it, on installation the system said i must have already owned a mapsource product first.. What does that mean ? Does it mean that I need to buy one of earlier versions of mapsource ?

ii) After having upgraded my 205W with the latest MFM map, each time i wish to set "where to", i always need to key in country as "Malaysia". Prior to this upgrade of map, "Malaysia" was always the default country. Could the sifus please enlighten me on how to get this around. I have actually acquired satellite for quite some time after having first selected "Malaysia" as the country.
