My ASEAN Free GPS Map Project

Can this be linked to our ordinary gps unit ie without the Navtec
Maybe with accident,heavy traffic,flood points can be streamed directly to our units..under the obstruction or detour menu?Then we are the first in Malaysia to do so...kan?

Unfortunately, we don't have live traffic updates in Malaysia yet. This requires a service that's usually transmitted via an FM radio frequency. You also need an FM traffic receiver (either built-in or an external type via the antenna coaxial input) plus the transmitting service for live traffic updates.

Just my RM0.02 worth.

This is a dream....
It's not a small project... I believe once we have this system, the Traffic system in Malaysia will improved!
At least, those who have TMC in the GPS can avoid Traffic JAM.
