What do you guys think of TomTom devices?

Wonder whose maps they will be using?

FYI TomTom owns Tele Atlas.

It's not likely TomTom is interested in collaborating with hobby mapping groups such as MfM.

Dont think so, now you can look at google maps, very detail indeed, my hometown roads also available right now compare to last time. The only thing i believe is the POI wont be as detail as MFM :)

map update better dun use mfm, or else will like papago-encourage more pirated software.
and catch those pirated gps outside when the sales drop. :D

we paid for the software license fees, is the software company responsibility to do and update the map, not mfm.

Bro yoongkeen, You have a weak argument.

You speak of pirated software. Sure, these people target popular consumer products but then don't the world largest "monopoly" commercial software ( MicroSoft ) also experiences this ...... :-'

We consumers are entitled to alternatives, not necessarily "pirated" stuff but non-commercial communities such as MFM whose sole goal is to provide the most up to date map for the benefit of road users in this part of region through community effort
