Driving Route

Hi guys, can someone tell me what's the best route for driving from Penang to Kuantan? :prayer: Thanks.

You may try to drive from Penang to Batang Kali and Gotong Jaya, then link to Karak highway and all the way to Kuantan. Or you may drive from Penang to Batu Cave then link to Karak Highway, the journey is more comfortable but the distance is longer.

Thanks for the suggestion. Will be looking forward to a long drive with a few stopover before reaching Kuantan.

i suggest u take different route to & fro. going back via t'ganu/k'tan should give u plenty of places to visit
from Garmin Que for Pocket PC to Garmin Mobile XT for Windows Mobile to Nuvi 205W to Papago M9 for Android & now Garmin Nuvi 2576.

What's your definition of best? If you ask Bro Pajero, he'll say the best would be to go to Grik, go to Gua Musang and possibly hit Segamat before getting to Kuantan :champ:

I have thought about it, but the thought of kids at the back of the car asking constantly, "are we there yet?!!" reminds me of some B rated comedy movies which I tried to avoid! :mrgreen:

The one I planned to take is not the best as per Bro Pajero. :shock: I would stick to Batu Caves then Karak highway.

bro, u need to teach your kids that the journey is the fun part, not just the destination :)

For me, definitely, Penang - baling - Gerik - east west hiway - east coast. :)
