Wow... really ?
MFM start to take junction view picture ?
How to take ? I have Video camera,
so I fix the video camera in front of my car and start recording when I am driving.
Drive from kayu hitam to singapore, when reach the first junction,
I just speak "ONE" for video cam record my sound and at the same time Press the "Mark" button of 60 CSx.
....when reach 2nd junction, speak "two" at the same time press "Mark" button of 60 CSx
.................. finally reach Singapore.
Booking a hotel room, start to capture and picture edition work
Use my video program and start to capture all the junction.
record down which junction with which coordinate
then Use paint tools to edit the junction picture in order have high resolution picture.
Finally, send my contribution to senior mapper.

I believe that, if you use only MSM, junction view function no more available.
inside your nuvi, Garmin\jcv folder
it store a jcv file, which store all the junction picture inside it.
the function almost same like custom POI. likely as Garmin\POI\

The map has already mark the Coordinate for the JCV call up, when u close to the junction,
the origin map will call up the JCV and garmin software till show u the junction.

So garmin only did it at their city navigator NTmap.
If you untick garmin city navigator from "map info"
no more junction view available.

Correct me May be I'm wrong.

No problem. it's very simple way to get it for you.
but JCV files size is very big few hundred Mbyte.
So far, what I analysis the JCV file, and get it only work on NT map.
Not work on OF map.

Found some info on the new Nuvi255W:

- Comes with Tele Atlas (for SG Map) and Malsing (For Mlysia Map).. thus the dual map bundled.
- Junction View is available only with Tele Atlas (Applicable to 200 odd junctions at the moment, not all)
- New Firmware to support Junction View
- Subscription for new map updates requires after 1 year free use of Tele Atlas... else can revert to Malsing.
- Free AC Charger and Casing
- No SD card
- Warranty by Navicom... plus maps downloads.

Can someone confirmed that only Tele Atlas Map come with junction view?

:tq:
