Hello,

I have not visited this site for more than a year & there are drastic changes. I would like to update the latest img file to my Garmin 1250. Appreciate if any kind soul out there could assist me which link should I go. Many thanks and have a good day.

Get the map ( Version 120818 ) our free public map thread via this link : viewtopic.php?p=123970#p123970

Run installer to generate mapfile gmapsupp.img
Go buy an SD card
Create a directory in SD card/garmin
Put the mapfile gmapsupp.img into it.

hello there!!
i just receive my Garmin Nuvi 40 from etihad airways.
its mentioned at the box that there already include the pre loaded map for Middle east.

and i plan to load the MFM map which is for Malaysia map in the SD card, is it ok if the map name same as in the built in GPS (gmapsupp.img)

or can i name it as (SD/Garmin/MFM_180812.img)

Backup all files before attempting any update. The gmapsupp.img contains a map. You will override the map
or can i name it as (SD/Garmin/MFM_180812.img)
Put it in SD card/map directory
