We can always organize another GG when you visit Penang, but if you are durian lover, then the right time is now!

All the while I was talking about beers, but I forgot there are some muslim visitors here too...
I'm not insisting on the venue suggested earlier, anyone can suggest another place more suitable to everyone.

:prayer: I'm sorry for that! :-#

Hi JasonLee,

Please allow me to continue with the topic of migrating datas to SD Card.

Below is the directory tree of my nüvi internal memory (I've cut off most irrelevant files to make the image easier to read) :

Image

As you can see from above, I've stated which file is which map together with it's file size.
Those 3 maps were preloaded when the time I bought it.
Those TXT files I created myself to help identify which file is which map.

Here's my SD Card structure:

Image

As you mentioned before, the SDCARD\Garmin\ folder can only contain 1 map.
The other 2 maps I can put in SDCARD\Map\ which does not have much limitation.

Let's make it this way for example:

  • MfM NT 2012.10 save in SDCARD\Garmin\ <-- Use this as primary map
  • MSM NT 2012.10 and CN NT 2012.10 save in SDCARD\Map\ <-- for backup purpose

Now, if I switch to City Navigator or MSM later, will I still have the Junction View if the associated JCV files was already inside SDCARD\Garmin\JCV\?

My concern is, will the other 2 maps become wasted if I move them this way?

And, I will definitely want to also keep a copy of cGPSmapper map, we never know it could be a lifesaver in case I have problem with the NT maps like I had earlier.

I don't know if I listed these out clear enough? I'm sorry if my language and post layout confuses you.

* I've already backup everything from the device, so you can guide me the unsafe way. *

:tq:

:rox:

Bro...

The place has Muslim food and do provide regular drinks. We can also have a separate table for the happy go lucky... We have had it in such venues in the past. A GG is about our Map... and I'm more then willing to change venue if someone can suggest a place.
