from above link, it states
ExtData folder - used by Garmin

my 255w is only about 1gb in build in space, at present only left with 20mb,
this extdata folder is pretty huge, about 12.9mb , can i remove the files inside?

all the files inside are last modified in 2009..

Can delete. Think these files used by webupdater and sometimes after map update does not get auto-deleted.
