Hi Bro,

Thanks for the patient :) and appreciate it...

Thanks! and Thanks! and Thanks!

One more last thing to ask !

on the avoidances menu,

it contain Traffic, U turn, toll road, carpool lane, ferries, unpaved road.

I only tick the unpaved road. all other function i remain untick.

and What does Traffic in the avoidances mean? Does it mean Traffic Jam or Traffic light, haha, sorry for asking this kind of stupid question, my bad. Why im askign it, is because what i can think of is, If traffic meant for traffic jam, how does the GPS can detect and avoid the traffic jam? hmmm.... at least not for Nuvi 255W ? hmmm...

From,
danny

errr, if we are within in the speed trap zone and my Car speed limit is exceeded, does the GPS will announce " Enforce Speed Zone, xx speed limit reach blah blah blah " things ?

hmm, and another thing is that, if im not in the SPeed ZONE, but my car speed limit is OVER 150km, does the GPS will inform you that your car speed limit is exceeded? hmmm...

i doesnt have chance to try it yet for the speed track!

Speed Alert is a custom POI that will sound alarm when a pre-program speed is met or exceeded.

If the speed alert custom POI is not in a new/current speed zone, then no alert will be sounded.

We rely on feedback from members to update or keep updated our speed alert POI file.

Traffic function is redundant for Nuvis in our part of world as it basically works with the FM Traffic function of applicable Nuvis. FM Traffic is a service provider dependent feature of Nuvi where traffic conditions are broad-casted. The Nuvi will receive this data and will re-route navigation to avoid places with reported traffic conditions. Garmin FM traffic is not compatible with Singapore's service and Malaysia has yet to implement this service.

To be precise, on the Garmin, the "Speed Trap" Custom POI will:

1. Show a Grey Flag, sound out 3 Tangs and a voice prompt "Enforced Speed Zone, the limit is 999 kilometers an hour" when you are within 10 Kmh (I think) of the speed limit when you are at the Speed Trap Location.

2. Show a Red Flag, sound out 3 Tangs and a voice prompt "Enforced Speed Zone, the limit is 999 kilometers an hour" when you are equal to or has exceeded the speed limit when you are at the Speed Trap Location.

3. At all other times, there will be no warning when you exceed the speed limit outside of the speed trap location.
