I understand some China-made GPS devices can use both Garmin and Papago. If Eroda E300 can do the same, why not use Garmin maps, unless the Map Header, like Bro Inggo said, could be the culprit... ](*,)

yups, but using Garmin maps need PID on GarminXT.. then you must insert cardID (FID) to running the correct key map..
Local kedai usually know what they did to get Key (garmin) & get Header (papago)..

someone came to me last week and bring his Eroda ( i forgot the model ) he bought three days earlier ..
the system always hang and kedai not give him warranty, if returned back they would cut 25% price... #-o
so, he gave to me to correct his software.. actually it's running on Falome.
but sometime the software wouldbe hang... (always hang).

I running my diagnostic program then i seen Famome needs more ram to 128 mb (actually his eroda only have 64mb)
then i try to update the system (luckyly i've the falome system update, before they close their online update map)
Get some tuning, then his system running well now :D

anyway, while repair his eroda, i try to running my sdcard with Papago & GarminXT to his GPS..
and extraordinary, papago X3 & X5 run smoothly and very fast.. GarminXT running well too..

i found there is same system about Falome & Papago X3.. it's very similar.
i can say Falome is X3 version with new Skin..
the menu's & skin in Falome more nice look rather than X3.. i love it.

i get conclusions from that, eroda can run all winCE gps's applications well with the correct tunning ..

Bro Inggo - I admire your vast technical knowledge in the electronic field. I have a predicament with my HTC and hope that you can get me out of this quandary.

some china's gps brand in their menu was using too big flashram to running application well in little 64 mb ram.
so it does not suffice to run navigation program such as falome.. then i change the bios menu (in flash ram) to another menu (with own menu) that reseting the program & data storage control panel & using my GoSpeed alternative menu..

voila.. it's fit enough to running any application then..
