I'm a newbie.
Just got myself a nuvi 1460.
I'm in Kangar, Perlis.
I'm also using a MacBook Pro.

Fiddle & find what yr toy could do and when in doubt, look up on the WiKis we have and then pose yr q'ns that are not as yet answered already.... Have fun and help contribute... it will serve you more eventually!

Where R U located? It helps you again if we can see which region U R in...

anyway, is there any idea where I can get Taiwan map for free?

Free Taiwan maps hard to come by. Official Garmin Taiwan maps already very good. Check it at www.garmin.com.tw

Just another question, if I ever find a new location that was never entered in the map. How do I update the information so that everybody can use it?
