I'm new here and new in gps too
Already read all newbie forum and faq, hope can contribute something to MFM (actually i have several new waypoint and track but need to get proper coordinate, my mapsource not show map!)
can i contribute way point with .gdb that im look at mapsource with a blank map?

hi hidern, welcome to mfm,
You can check whether you have any map installed in Mapsource by clicking the top-left corner where a pullodown menu for maps are located. If you have installed your mfm correctly, then 'Malfreemaps 101108' should be listed. If no maps are found in the list, then you have not installed your mfm map correctly.
If the mfm map is there, you can use the 'Waypoint Tool' (the green flag with a pole), click anywhere on the blank map and type in this coordinates (N3 08 59.9 E101 42 39.4) in 'Position:'. Then click 'Show on Map'. It should display the 'Kuala Lumpur' POI at the centre of your screen.

Finally i find it (it about 2 weeks i search how exactly to see the map)
This setting that able map from mapsource come out (maybe useful for others)
1-Pull down view at menu and don't tick basic map only
2-Switch to product and tick Malfreemaps 101108

Perhaps you should learn How to contribute tracks & Poi , Please refer to our library section.
