Hi everyone! Great site!

Am a total newbie with regards to GPS and am not very techie type.

Am thankful that there are actually people who takes the trouble to create, maintain and run this kind of forums to help. Kudos!!

Will definitely need lotsa help

Hi bro bigdaddy :welcome: to mfm. Just browse and read through the Library section and other threads, and you will become a techie in no time :) Keep the passion alive bro... :D

Thanks for the welcome guys. :D

My issue is that I do not know what type/manufacturer/model my gps unit is. I got it when my wofe bought her Alza. Installed in the unit was Garmin, Igo, Mapking and Papago maps.

I quite like the Papago interface and road and would like to update Papago maps. Am downloading the December map now. Problem is how do I install the map. Can someone point the thread out? I see a lot on updating garmin but have failed to find Papago instructions, plus not knowing the type and manufacturer of my GPS unit makes me more afraid that I will do more harm than good here.

Bro bigdaddy, just follow the instruction inside the library section in how to update your Papago... MFM is producing map for genuine Garmin devices and Papago devices, licensed Papago engine devices, and Galatio devices.

Hi...i'm henry from putrajaya...just bought move G4323 recently (papago X5 install). I donno what's wrong but the gps doesn't give me any help on my ecent trip. Current location just way off..i think almost more than 300 meter off the road. #-o any advice for me... :-k sorry if i'm askin g stupid question :lol:
