Hi all.

I just bought Garmin Nuvi 1245 recently. About the custom POI, how can I view the POI on 3D Map Mode?

I can view the POI on 2D mode though.

Anyone knows about it?

This has got to do with Garmin firmware controlled to prevent screen clutter.

To view you have to touch screen which puts it in 2D mode

Frustrating, isn't it? That is why I'm still using my 205W (especially for tracking), primarily because of POI visibility. My A10/G60, although faster, does not show most POIs. As for tweaks.. AFAIK, there's none.

Buy older generation as these has no firmware limitation implemented. Models like 200, 300, 400, 500, 600 and some 700 series ... :-'
