Can we have two maps from mfm and msm in my Garmin 205?

by the way, can we do such a way that to rename the file name i.e. gmapsuppCN.img (for China), gmapsuppTH.img (Thailand), gmapsuppID.img (indonesia) and so on? Does Garmin unit regcornized the map? Thanks

The sad thing is that Garmin only allow Gmapsupp, Gmapprom, Gmapoem, Gmapsup2..etc... with no function in the GPS to rename files. What I did is to use an external uSD card to store all the maps I want. When needed I'll rename the map file using my Nokia phone. Hope this helps...cheers!

In that case, say i got 2 gmapsupp maps in the same directory, can i rename one of the file become say gmapsup1, does the rename file work? TQ

Finally can use both map (MFM & jerome map) at the same time by selection, instead of changing SD card liao :mrgreen:

Bro, how to get the jerome map and broneo map? how to combine them? i try to search around and cant find the answer. TQ

No i did not combined the map...
Just able to place the mapfile, one in garmin drive, other in SD card...without crashing.... in this way, i can select which map to be used...

hehe.. me too cannot find change id because using v040. any help here?
