Yes, put one map in main memory /garmin and one in SD card /garmin

Go to TOOLS / MAP / MAP INFO and select / de-select respective MFM or MSM map tiles.

The MFM map or MSM map using same name gmapsupp.img in GARMIN directory so....
if u install this file in same directory with same name... new file overlap old one....

READ YOUR NUVI MANUAL OR DO SEARCH IN MFM FORUM. MANY POST ALREADY APPEAR ABOUT THIS PROBLEM IN THIS FORUM

Yes and no.

For the purpose of loading maps into your MIcro SD card, you don't need a cable. In fact it is better that you don't use a cable even if you have one but use an external card reader or the card reader in you PC because the GPS unit still works on USB 1.0 which takes a much longer time to transfer files than your PC or card reader working on USB 2.0.

My GPS was bought from USA and it included a USB cable but I noticed that all units bought by my friends in Malaysia and Singapore do not come with a USB cable. It is a cheap thing anyway so most people do not complain and you probably already have several that came with your other PC peripherals, digital cameras, cellular phones and other digital gadgets.
Lean not on your own understanding

Yes you can have maps from mfm and msm in your 205 together but you need to change the map ID for either one else they cannot coexist together since the map ID clash. So one of the maps won't work and displays a blank map. Just use the gmaptool and change the map ID of either map and it will work fine.

Search the forum, this topic has been discussed before and someone has posted the steps on how to change maps ID and where to download the gmaptool.

Good luck.
