Battery try http://www.batterybay.net/SearchResults ... =75&page=1
Can also try Unicell at SLS #02-70
Suction Cup Mount, try Perfect Watch@SLS #01-36
no need have the exact version for 255W as the ball section will fit into any range of Garmin suction cup end. Just bring your unit and see which design model fits your needs

Re: Nuvi 255 battery dead
When I change my Nuvi 300 battery many years ago it was a nightmare... surprisingly, the replacement Nokia battery still working...
The Nuvi 255 will be much easier to open as compared to the 300.
Have fun Bro!...

Re: Nuvi 255 battery dead
Got myself a 2nd-hand 205W just last week because my (current) 205W has suddenly lost it's audio capabilities. No voice or beeps. Any ideas why this happened?
Thanks for the lead because I need to replace the battery. The previous owner had not updated the mfm map.... he was still using the 2011 map!

Re: Nuvi 255 battery dead
Oh No!..... You need to administer a good Lozenges... like Difflam... Sore throat lah!... Just joking...
I will check the following
- Plug in a headset to see if there is something wrong with the speaker (if there is an audio output port).
- Voice file is corrupted and or not selected.
- Then refresh the firmware to see if it helps.
- Open it up to Play Play....
Hope this helps.... Cheers
