I just got my papago for android and am a total noob at mapping and gps. So I'll be lurking around here hoping to learn some stuff, and hopefully will be able to contribute back eventually. Cheers all~

First time poster here. My dad has a Garmin 205 and I just bought a second hand 205w unit for myself.
Just installed mapsource and I hope I can learn and contribute to this forum.
Can someone point me to where I can learn to correct POI? Tried searching but couldnt find anything to solve my problem so far. I installed mapsource and the latest mfm map is loaded but how to I correct the POI description?

Bro Rahavsmt, you can provide the necessary feedback at the appropriate topics under any of the regional feedback sub-topics found here. Thereafter the mappers will pick up the submission and incorporate it into the map which will usually be updated with the new data in the subsequent release. Here's a good guide to learn about POI and track contribution: How to contribute POIs & Track by using Garmin Mapsource
