My ASEAN Free GPS Map Project

Some of the newbies are not sure of how to find out the coordinates of the locations they have saved in the "Favourite" in their Nuvi devices. There are basically 2 simple methods to do so and they work on the Nuvi 25x series and 76x series but I am not sure if the same method can apply to other models. These methods do not work on older models like the 20x, 30x and 6xx series as they have different ways of viewing the coordinates.

Step 1

At the "Home" page, press and hold onto the satellite signal bar at the top left hand corner until u get a "red cross" on it which is an indication that the device has gone into simulation mode. This step works for the 76x series but not sure if it works on the 25x series. If it doesn't, go to step 2 otherwise proceed to step 3 once this is done.



Step 2

At the "Home" page, > "Tools" (picture of spanner) > "Setting" > "System" and select GPS Off in "GPS Mode" in order for the device to go into simulation mode.







Step 3

Go to "Favourite" > and select the saved destination that you want to view the coordinates followed by "Show Map" which will bring you to the map. Once you are at the map, click on "Set Loc" at the bottom of the page.



Step 4

Once you have clicked on "Set Loc", back out all the way to "Coordinates" to view the coordinates. To confirm, click on Next to go back to the map. An another way to view the coordinates, after you have done step 3, are the methods prescribed in step 5.





Step 5

Once you have clicked on "Set Loc", back out all the way to the "Main" page and click on "Tools" (picture of spanner) which will bring you to next page. Next, click on "Where Am I?" and you will be shown the coordinates and a host of other information.
