how can i do a screen calibration on my gps device
User of 205 / 205W

dunno, maybe my finger 'too big' cannot touch the screen properly, need to use nails, and feel its a little off

here some trick:
1) Turn the Nuvi off.
2) Put one finger on the screen and hold it there through the next couple of steps.
3) Turn the Nuvi on with the slider and immediately put it into the lock position.
4) Keep holding that finger on the screen for about 20 seconds or so.
The tricky part (for me anyway) was turning it on and immediately sliding it into lock before it really started to boot.

Please elaborate more which Garmin Nuvi model you would like to perform screen calibration.
different model has different method.

Answer:
To recalibrate the touchscreen on your nuvi 205 or 205w series device please follow the directions below.
With the device powered off:
Touch and hold the top left hand corner of the screen
Power the unit on and continue to hold the top left hand corner of the screen
A message will display on the screen: Press Dot
Once this message displays, release the top left hand corner of the screen
Press in the center of the Dot
Keep pressing in the center of the Dot as it moves around the screen
Once this is complete, there will be a message: Calibration Complete
Touch Ok and the unit will restart
The touchscreen will now be recalibrated.

Yup, Nuvi 600 & 700 series also same .....
