GPS Bay E668XP can use mfm?

Postby Puppyslayer » Mon May 31, 2010 9:43 am

Hi guys,
I just received a GPS Bay E668XP (citibank gift). Under the MagaNavi folder, it has the following files:

1Mal_E668xp_Jan2010.G12
2Malsing_WM_E668xp_Oct2009.G12
3Malsing_EM_E668xp_Oct2009.G12

Does that mean the device can use MFM maps or something? I haven't actually tried putting a img.supp file there, and renaming it with the naming convention above.

Oh, and is there anyway to install Garmin on this? Its using WindowsCE OS. Sorry, not too good on this stuff. Was using Garmin XT on my Omnia all the while.

Thanks.

I believe your gps bay is using Mapking navigation software, so MFM is not your right destination.... [-X

Thanks. :tq:

According to their website, they are using Mapking and Malsing maps (GARMIN Maps). You can go over to MSM forum and check there. but base on the file extension xx.g12, this is mapking file extension.
