HD malaysia gps software & map.

hi,
would like to seek the help from u all. i have no idea about gps. just purchased eroda e300 hd version in china because it is cheap. is there any good gps application that i can run on my eroda e300? currently im running route 66 but the maps so outdated & no 3d view. there is also papago software inside but i cannot read mandarin.
please advice me..

get Advised from the senior mapper. and if you unit is Eroda Original shall have the Registration card. Use the card to register and download software from the eroda website. http://www.papago.com.cn/ see the left hand site there have eroda download link.

I know I can download there. But the application in mandarin. The problem is I can't read mandarin. Contacted the manufacturer & papago.com.cn & also m3asia. But no reply.

if sole distributor not replied you, then you can meet me up - if you stay near lembah kelang.
.. hope i can help your problem ...try change your mandarin to english...

I can change the language to english but I can't switch the map. I think I need the original papago software. The installed gps software is eorda branded papago software.

i know, i see there is different map header in the map files, then you cannot using your (china/taiwan) papago to open mfm map and vice versa.. even if you'r using original one.

I saw in other forum selling the same gps I'm using with the original papago software with malaysia map. Now I'm confused??

there is some security market protection then you cannot using china/taiwan papago to using other country map (or mfm map). There is some lock code in header map file then you cannot using foreign gps to using local map.
I think it's for security market reason from parallel import to protect their officially distributor here..

The other, maybe sell the same brand of your gps but they had been change software inside.., the original foreign country GPS (china/taiwan) papago cannot using mfm map caused by different header map as security lock.

its not fair to say that about MFM.. this is an unfair practise by papago.. and they put it there for duno what reason..

garmin doesnt do that.. im usign a garmin set bought in taiwan.. no problems with MFM maps..
