My Nuvi 760 has a reported accuracy of about 7 meters
There are many twin roads in town which heads the same way and about 7 meters apart.
How does the Nuvi know which road to lock on? There are many cases which my Nuvi locks on the wrong road and reverts back to the correct one after reaching its end. A case in point is the one on Jalan Kluang besides Pacific Mall. Is this an inherent defect in the Nuvi or some improvements that can be made somewhere.

By 'twin' I assume you are saying parallel roads, 7m apart, right? Two factors which could be affecting the lane hopping:
    1. The 'current' satellite lock is poor, and probably more than 7m accuracy;
    2. The the tracks on the map is inaccurate; tracks were probably logged when satellite accuracy was poor.

What I would do is to track those roads again when you get good satellite accuracy. Then compare it with the current map. If you think the differences are significant, then send them to our mappers. That way our maps become more accurate, and future users won't panic when their vehicles start hopping lanes on their own.

Bros..
Actually, im now have finish tracking for both side lanes from Batu Pahat until Batu Pahat Technical School..
But im waiting for the new divider construction to complete to make the track accurate with U-Turns..
Maybe in this week i'll post the complete track for update.
I've inform to bro robo & bro gerkeng about this matter.
Be patient ya bros.. :-)
