I need the informations of the road class at BP.JJ007 wrote:the other things to do for BP is road classification. as I saw many road were classified as main road but in fact they are 'taman' or 'kampung' road.
not sure how mappers want us to feedback, by screen dump and arrows, or by right should do it and submit in mp format.
but first of all, we need to agree on how many 'classes' we need to break them into ...
Appreciated.
Please advise in the Mapsource format, because of the standard we been practice here will be different. I still prefer in Mapsource format.
Let me break into few classes of the BP roads :-
1) Main Arterial road - Major trunk road in town.
2) Collector road - Major road within town area and also Taman area.
3) Residential Street - roads & streets in Taman. (Not the major road)
4) Principal Highway - We use this to connect from BP to other town like Muar. (Decide by mappers)
Please suggest the road class from 1-3. Please provide the speed limit if possible.
I will also consult my group of friends who lives in BP too.
Your Suggestions are very much appreciates!
At last, we still have to put our priority to the 'Complete roads' & streets of Batu Pahat (at least 80-90%). That will be not only our Goal but also the target of every state in Malaysia include Singapore! Because the road must be there First before we class the roads to any category.
Thanks for the suggestion to make our maps the Better Maps.
Batu Pahat town road classes
1.Main Arterial road - Major trunk road in town.
2. Collector road - Major road within town area and also Taman area.
3. Consider other road are residential roads n principal highway ( decide by mappers )
