100m voice alert before a turn

My garmin 1350 is prompting me to turn in 50m all the time.

Is there a way to set it to prompt me to turn 100m, to be safe...

As I know, there isn't any setting for the prompt distance.
Upload your contribution to MFM drop box if you don't want others to take your contributed tracklogs or POIs.

If you are talking about the final prompt before the Turn Instruction (e.g. KEEP, BEAR, TURN or U-TURN) it will be triggered by the firmware about 70-80m from the turn. It does not depend on the map although mappers can make the Voice Prompt announce a TI earlier. However, don't expect that to happen for the whole map as Bro OngCC rightly said, there isn't any setting for prompt distance. Going straight is not considered a TI so the firmware will instruct the Voice Prompt to stay silent but the VP can be forced-triggered to make an alert as early as 2km from the actual point of TI and the device (a Nuvi) will still make the final alert at 70-80 m from the point activated by the firmware.
