Is it just me or MFM maps doesn't show 'xxx meters' turn right/left ahead?

My Nuvi710 shows and prompts that info correctly. How about voice prompts in your unit?

No problems for my Nuvi 255W.

I used to see this and the "xx Metres" to "checked flag". Somehow I dont see these 2 prompts anymore....some settings I did?

Once I run purely MFM v1.59 or v1.60, I don't see the 'xxx meters' on the top left corner of the 205W, and also, the arrow direction is missing as well. But when I switch to other maps (eg. CNNT v4.02 or J v3.81), it works fine.

Let me try to do a screen capture and post it.

I'm using MFM maps with City Navigator and it doesn't show as well. But the reverse is true when I used the latter with MSM map.....

Is it due to map settings or individual settings on the GPS?

I think I found the root cause.

Once I have MFM v1.60 + MFM POI v1.60 + MSM NT 2009.3B enabled and Map Detail set to 'More', the arrow direction and distance to next turn will not show. However, once I disable the MSM NT 2009.3B, it would work just fine most of the time.

As much as I support MFM, SG still lacks behind compared to MSM thus I need both to work concurrently, else it's very disruptive to keep toggling between enabling MFM or MSM NT maps.

How do u use both the maps ? I used City Navi and all the fine details that MFM has disappears.

City Navigator map has higher priority over MFM map, if you do not disable it, it will overlap MFM map. For any map sharing the same geographical location, only 1 map can be used at a time. To enable/disable maps, tap Tools > Settings > Map > Map Info. Tick/untick where applicable.
