Saw the expressway exit number in mapsource, but during routing using my gps set, they dont prompt the exit number. is this normal?

Maybe you would like to provide what GPS device you using, what's the GPS software/firmware version?

mine is 200w, purchased about 1.5 years back, neverupdate the firmware before

You never mention firmware version, thus maybe it's the firmware version don't support Exit Info function/feature?

We have discussed about this issue on another thread earlier:

Seems to be limitation of the map compiler. Only maps compiled by Garmin compiler (e.g. City Navigator NT maps, MSM NT maps) can show the exit number while routing. While maps compiled by cgpsmapper, (e.g. MFM maps or MSM non-NT maps), does not show the exit number while routing.

According to bro OngCC, he doesn't know how to make the exit number "recognized" by Garmin while routing. He has made sure that all the exit numbers are included on the polyline ramps (we can see it using Mapsource) but not shown on our GPS devices while routing.
