I just wonder how can I contribute in order for us to have any update POI's in my hometown?

just send your tracking point or poi to forum..
save your POI and/or tracking data, convert it to GPX file.
open with garmin mapsource..then save it.
printscreen POI or tracking, edit freeze pic & give with some notes,
and send your gpx file (and pic) to related Forum..
