It again, involve some argument where "who going to be the judge" to assign such a status? And I can bet, some "users" will shout at us and said, I want the latest maps, coz I am travelling to some where!
I think for bro chaicka new server we should just restrict to moderators, mappers & polygon mappers. They need to check to their work to ensure it is accurate. Nobody can complain that they are "elite" or close or anything. Anyone can join this group if they want to.

So, at the end of the days, it will create another issues.... :frus: :
The maps are not goin to be so outdated. I am currently still using I think May 10 maps, and it has not directed me to drive off a cliff or something. Guys, lighten up, you don't need the latest maps to get from point A to point B.

shawchyn wrote:My suggestion is, for those who really want to get a hand on the maps, download it on Tuesday morning (00:00 - 8:00) this is the time that most less traffic yet get touch with the new maps. Don't try on Monday morning (00:00 - 06:00).
Good suggestion. I think after all the discussion we had since this thread was started, members should not complain about slow downloading of maps anymore but only to give feedback if they are encountering problem in downloading like cannot access, access denied, etc.

By the way, :tq: :good: to you (this refers to bro shawchyn, typo error missed out the "&") & bro chaicka on the work done on this issue.

Must thank bro Shawchyn as well. It's a combined effort on both core mirrors/hostings that resulted in better traffic management, as well as encourage audience awareness and behavior/habit change.
