About MFM's mobile mapping clinic

Postby sharkteef » Mon Apr 12, 2010 12:48 am

The test started at our grounds in PJ. Actually in subang jaya quite some time back. The reception was good.
I managed to aid some members and answered their queries.
Then came another testing stage conducted recently at Nibong Tebal. The tests again came back positive.
This proves that communication is vital and there are many who still have tons of questions.

Unfortunately due to the amount of work it takes to prepare, there are things that just couldnt be explained due to time constraint. And because the questions are so vast are diversed, there was absolutely no way anyone could've explained everything to everyone. The people who attended were also very diversed. Questions were given not only from new registered members, but also walk-in people and of course the seniors.
In order to better ourselves, guidance is important. Having the right people to guide you would be the best efficient way to learn and pick up quickly with little mistakes.

In order to prepare for the next mobile mapping clinic, i would like to know roughly what would be of great interest and relevance to you. It does not matter if you are new with 1 post or old with 100000 posts. What would you like to learn ?

Some have expressed to me their interest to learn mapping. Some have expressed to me their interest to learn to draw Junction Views. But there are also some who have expressed to me that they want to learn how to use their devices. Learning to navigate with it. There are also some who have expressed their interest in learning to use mapsource the proper way and what they can do with it. There are some who just needed advice on the different devices out there.

Do let me know and i'll try to arrange a more efficient mapping clinic the next time party van goes somewhere.

I also advice to those who wish to learn, NOT to wait for the mapping clinic but to attend any GG convinient to you or keep in communications with whomever you feel comfortable with. There are many here who can assist and guide you and are more than willing to answer your queries.
