Mmm ... Do you have any problem accessing wikipedia.org from that machine? I do see a bit more advertising on wikia.com . Would that be the cause of "crashes" or "hangs" to your machine?

I hung my laptop with blankpage. I have to terminate the non-responding webpage.

Probably my laptop is too slow for the webpage.

Bro sabre23t,

I have another HOWTO topic for you to consider writing. Actually, I also like to have an answer for my own usage.

The question is: "How to install a map to be viewed in MapSource when you do not have an installer but just the installed gmapsupp.img in your GPSr?"

Thanks in anticipation.

I don't have a full answer for that, since I haven't tried that. I understand it involves breaking the gmapsupp.img to component IMG file via gmaptool. Then using M3 to install the IMG file into mapsource.

You're welcome to update the wiki with said info. 8-)

I was hoping that you would write such a 'HOWTO' to save me the experimenting. O:)

Ah ... Wikis tend to be built by those who have experimented, and selflessly wanted others not to have to repeat the same. So, if someone else haven't done so, I guess you'll have to be the one who experimented and write. Hehe. O:)
