Re: (UPDATED) NEWS : RIP Myin
Really shocked to see this updated news here. I first met him in Malacca GG. During the planning of that GG, he was so kind to offer his house and also high speed broadband, Such a nice guy. You will be missed.
Regards,

I'm very shocked to just come across this change of event.

Dear Brother Phillip Lim aka Myin, may your soul rest in peace...
And my thanks to Bro ccwong and the others who attend his wake on behalf of the community.

Re: (UPDATED) NEWS : RIP Myin
Have not been visiting MFM lately and now, I am surprised that Bro Myin has passed away. Just missed the funeral or else I would have dropped by. When he first joined MFM, I noticed that he was very active in contributing to the Melaka map. Started off with Nyalas town and then he travelled all over the places to map Melaka. I remembered he once mentioned his car got stuck in a drain during a mapping trip and he had to get someone to tow the car up.
I did not get to meet him although he did ask me to drop by his home in Nyalas state since I do map Melaka once a while. Now I will not get to meet a fellow contributor. May he rest in peace. We will miss him.

Re: (UPDATED) NEWS : RIP Myin
Currently I have not opened the forum in long-term due to my health, so opening once a week, maybe once in 3-4 weeks or more..
i just bless him to do recovery in the morning http://www.malfreemaps.com/viewtopic.php?p=165491#p165491 but he sudden death at evening in same day.
Now i just opening mfm website, i also shocked & surprised that Bro Myin passing away..
Rest in Peace Brother
I several times to meet with him in GG (PJ-Subang-TTDI-Ipoh) but cannot and never forget him, why? cause for me he is one of the man who made me addict in the world of GPS.
Bro Myin is the enthusiastic kindly person who teach me in first time how to drawing map with mapedit at TTDI GG, and recommended me to continue study of GPS, not only as a hobby and not only going tracking and send the track but he also recommend me to be a polygon mapper (but it's become another situation it's another story that I will not tell here).
Although he is as valued contributor here, Anyway he is very good in map edit indeed.
actually, my first acquaintance with the world of GPS is a gift given by my wife, she gave me my first GPS at my birthday cause of I often lost when going to Bandar Kualalumpur & PJ,
then i found that my hometown AMBS in Terengganu is not covered in map at all, So i started to contribute to tracking (thank's to Bro Zamad)
Then when i moved to PJ 2 years ago, I often meet him in several GG.
I always surprise with him with his complete gps'gadgets (my wife call him as gadjet man :-) that made me more enthusiastic to using gps not only as normal users but deepen learn further.
I just want to tribute him that Bro Myin is not only our colleague in this mfm's forum but he is truly my inspiration, his love about gadjet always surpised me & addict me (thanks Bro),
i just want to say to you Bro Myin, my polygon and road drawing in mapedit was complete now but maybe gone with your soul Myin, Rest in Peace Brother.. i & my wife will miss you always..
