May I suggest that members from different places bring some of their local treats to let others experience our truly divert cultures. I can bring some Penang Tau Sar Peah... or a bottle of Sesame Seeds Oil to spice up the drinks... ... hmmm... or we can use Belacan instead of Cheese for your wine too... ha haa...

We the Ipoh Mali guys would like to make sure those who come for the GG enjoy themself while in Ipoh. So, from time to time some of the active MFM members in Ipoh would meet up and discuss if there is anything else we could do to make this GG a very memorable one for those who turn up.

The Ipoh members are planning a post-GG dinner on 30th August at Lawan Kuda, Gopeng (N4 27.158 E101 09.598).

Lawan Kuda is famous amongst the locals here for its 'non-mainstream' food dishes. For a kampung its size, it has a disproportionate amount of restaurants so it is a foodie's heaven! Dining is mainly al fresco and prices are relatively value-for-money.

This eatery we are going to is called Restoran Yee Man. This place is not in the MFM 1.67 release, as I just tracked it yesterday (viewtopic.php?f=6&t=3947). The proprietor is a friend of bro jimmyong64. It is a corner lot, so weather permitting, we have lots of space for al fresco dining.

Prior reservation is required, as the ingredients for some of the dishes need to be prepared a few days in advance. We will be opening up a new thread for brothers to confirm their attendance. Pricing (per head) will also be disclosed later.

To our fellow Muslim brothers, thousand apologies but this place is non-halal.
