If the only thing missing is the TMC, and the map quality & coverage is as good as other MFM map, then I have no problem.

i agree!

lucky singaporean users. look like garmin is given a run for its money. the interface (based on the screenshot) looks like much simplified following garmin's template but i may be wrong. my colleague showed me her papago unit and i thought the interface was a bit complicated.

Galactio is using Papago engine.

Galactio V8 and V8-HD seem to be a new engine based on the press release from QI.

From the press release, for Singapore brothers, the system will provide many things on TMC:
* Traffic
* Road Closures
* Parking Availability
* Weather
...

There are also some screen shots in the PDF press release that can be downloaded from the site.
